Antimalarials Online
 (New Service!)

e-med are launching a new service with our pharmacy. You can now order your anti-malarial medication online with delivery the next day, to anywhere in the UK.

N.B. If you don't know which anti-malarial medications you need for the country you are visiting please use our Free Travel Information Service


Costs

  • Malarone
    • Taken:
      • daily for two days before you go
      • each day you are there
      • and for one week after leaving the risk area

  • Mefloquine
    • Taken:
      • weekly for one week before you go
      • each week you are there
      • and for four weeks after leaving the risk area

  • Doxycycline
    • Taken:
      • daily (one tablet/day) for the week before you go
      • each day you are there
      • and four weeks after leaving the risk area

  • Chloroquine (taken weekly)

Depending on the type, anti-malarial medication costs between £15.50 and £50.00 for the first week and between £2.50 and £25.00 for subsequent weeks. Exact costs will be provided upon completion of medication enquiry form.
